Hospices de Beaune 2026: planning your travel during the Wine Auction weekend

The 166^th Hospices de Beaune Wine Auction will take place on Sunday 15 November 2026 at Les Halles, Beaune's market hall. Alongside the auction, a wide range of tastings and events will be held in Beaune and at wine estates across the region over the weekend of Friday 13 to Sunday 15 November 2026.

If you are coming to Beaune for the event, getting into town is only part of the planning. Travelling between the station, your accommodation, tastings, restaurants and appointments at wine estates may mean several journeys in a single day.

Sotheby's, which runs the auction, confirms the date as 15 November 2026. The local tourist office, Beaune et le Pays Beaunois Tourisme, also lists tastings and events scheduled throughout the weekend.

Arriving in Beaune by train: what about the next part of your journey?

Beaune station brings you directly into the town. Depending on your plans, however, your accommodation, restaurant, wine estate or meeting point may still be several kilometres away.
